Daniel was used to Gate travel by now so the sudden rush of momentum through the stars didn't catch him off guard too badly. He did hop a few steps on the other side to get his balance and looked around at the planet they had come to.
It still was a bit creepy. A veritable ghost town, only this was a very advanced ghost town. The buildings were all white with most of them were sectioned like cube building blocks. In fact, most if not all of the buildings were simple geometric shapes. The road leading away from the gate was completely flat and smooth but the scientists hadn't been able to figure out what it was made of yet. Mostly because it was too flat and hard for them to take a sample.
SG3 team was standing at the ready, poised around the gate in defensive positions, in case of trouble.
