Ian was startled by the wormhole opening. Once it was activated and turned to the placid water like surface he was fascinated.

A rush. Ian muttered to himself as he stepped up to the event horizon. He poked at it and was surprised to find it felt like there was nothing there. Never one to hesitate too long Ian stepped through wondering what was on the other side.
